Bob Morris also wrote a chapter in , edited by Robert Hazell, on the future reign of Charles III, which touched on similar issues in 2008.
This set the scene for two new projects: onÌýaccession and coronation, looking in particular at the accession and coronation oaths, and a comparative study of the other monarchies of western Europe, their changing role and functionsÌýand the challenges they all face.
