Both the Undergraduate and Postgraduate application deadlines for a prioritised halls place for the 2024-2025 academic year have now passed.Ìý
Please note that if you submit an application after 10 June 2024 (for Undergraduates) or after 30 June 2024 (for Postgraduates) you have missed the deadline for a prioritised halls place, and you will not hear from the Accommodation Office until the second week in September. Exceptions will be made if you are under 18, or if you have additional requirements.
How to apply
•ÌýÌý ÌýIf you have firmly accepted your offer to study at ÂÒÂ×Ðã for 2024-2025 Academic Year, even if it is a conditional offer, you can apply for accommodation.

If you have missed the deadlines for a prioritised halls place, we encourage you to read Alternative Accommodation webpage, where we provide a guide to private accommodation in London for ÂÒÂ×Ðã students.
Current Undergraduate students who require a place for the 2024 Summer Students term, from 22 June to 11 September can submit an application through the ÂÒÂ×Ðã Accommodation Portal.ÌýCurrent Postgraduate students can still submit an application for the remainder of the 2023-2024 academic year. To apply, log into the and select the 2023-2024 Academic Year (50.57 weeks) term to start your application. There is current availability in rooms across locations and a range of price points. Offers are sent to applicants daily, so please make sure you check your email inbox.
ÂÒÂ×Ðã Accommodation allocates approximately 8,000 beds acrossÌýLondon every year. Ìý
We guaranteeÌýaccommodation to students that are under 18 years old or students with Additional Requirements. Current ÂÒÂ×Ðã students that have Additional Requirements should review the webpage to ensure they have the correct documentation for their application.
First Year students are prioritisedÌýfor ÂÒÂ×Ðã Accommodation, which means that they are offered spaces in ÂÒÂ×Ðã Accommodation ahead of returning students.ÌýDuring the academic year 2023-24, all applicants who met the eligibility criteria were allocated a place in ÂÒÂ×Ðã Accommodation.Ìý
Eligibility Criteria
- Undergraduate students
Undergraduate students are eligible for a prioritised place in ÂÒÂ×Ðã Accommodation if they meet all the following:
- are a full-time student Ìý
- are in their first year at ÂÒÂ×Ðã or are attending ÂÒÂ×Ðã for a full academic year on Junior Year Abroad (JYA) Erasmus, or Exchange programmes Ìý
- apply for a single room (we have very limited couples and family accommodation) Ìý
- have not previously lived or studied in  at a Higher Education Institution (University).ÌýIf you went to secondary school in London or if your home address is in London, you still meet the eligibility criteriaÌý
- list ÂÒÂ×Ðã as their firm choice by 10 June 2024 Ìý
- submit their ÂÒÂ×Ðã Accommodation application (separate to application to study) by 10 June 2024
- Postgraduate students
Postgraduate students are prioritised for an offer of accommodation if they meet allÌýthe following:Ìý
- are an international, full-time studentÌý
- are in their first year at ÂÒÂ×ÐãÌý
- apply for a single room (we have very limited couples and family accommodation) ÌýÌý
- have accepted an offer to study for a full-time Masters’ programme, Postgraduate Diploma, MPhil or PhD, or full-year affiliate programme at ÂÒÂ×Ðã by 30 June 2024Ìý
- have not previously lived or studied in  at a Higher Education Institution (University).ÌýIf you went to secondary school in London or if your home address is in London, you still meet the eligibility criteriaÌý
- submit their ÂÒÂ×Ðã Accommodation application (separate to application to study) by 30 June 2024Ìý

We have outlined the offer timeline to help students understand when they can expect to receive a response to their ÂÒÂ×Ðã Accommodation application.

ÌýNew Postgraduate applicants holding a conditional or unconditional offer to study, who meet the eligibility criteria for a prioritised place. *Affiliate applicants attending ÂÒÂ×Ðã in January 2025 will be able to apply for the Affiliate 2024-2025 (Terms 2 & 3) term from Monday 23 September 2024. Places will be allocated between October to December 2024.Ìý

At ÂÒÂ×Ðã, we want to provide you with a home away from home, where you will feel comfortable and supported. As a resident in ÂÒÂ×Ðã halls, you can join in weekly activities and events organised in your hall, as part of Flourish, our residential life programme. In ÂÒÂ×Ðã halls, we have Student Residence Advisers (SRAs), who are there to provide pastoral support, signpost residents to ÂÒÂ×Ðã support services, and help students settle into university life.ÌýÌýÌý

ÂÒÂ×Ðã Accommodation will continue to add halls to our portfolio in order to meet the demand for places and our website will be updated regularly to reflect this. Last year we added 500+ new bed spaces for ÂÒÂ×Ðã Accommodation at Urbanest King’s Cross for 2023/24.Ìý
